Today I set up a planter for some bell peppers, the seeds of which I have been harvesting from store-bought peppers for quite a while now. I made the pot out of empty milk cartons. I think it should work. It took me a while to drink two whole cartons of milk, after I realized that I could use them for planting.

When it stops being cold at night I'll move it all outside, probably. My apartment is always pretty warm these days.
Yay gardenage!
ReplyDeleteI hope the store pepper seeds work.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've read, they will work fine unless the pepper was a hybrid, in which case the seeds will still grow into plants, but the peppers will taste lame. There's no way to know if I got hybrid peppers, but I think they're more expensive to breed so I doubt they make up the majority of produce.
