Tent.

I'm almost done sewing the tent. It actually went really fast once I finished the first, really long seam. All I have left is to sew on the door flaps, put on a few grommets, and put on all the ties. I would love to get a photo, but as before, it just looks like a huge lump of fabric crumpled on my floor. I'll have to take it to my parents' house to get a photo of it all spread out because my apartment is too small.

Here's my pattern and instructions, which I came up with. It seems to be working out pretty well, but we'll see once we build the skeleton. On the grommet flap and the door flaps, I didn't have to hem because I used the selvedge.

I could have finished it today, but I started staring into space too much so I realized I needed a break. I took a shower, and didn't want to work on it again after that because of how the fabric gets green stuff all over me. I'll probably finish it in the next few days because I don't want it taking up all my floor space for too long.

It feels so backwards to me to sew something and then build the body to fit the sewn thing.

In Tent 2.0 I'll sew in a floor. That will be later when I can afford more fabric.
