Skin Tips.

Random tips for taking care of skin:

♠ Drink lots of water.
♠ Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
♠ Wash your face with water every night. Use cleansers only when necessary (makeup/dirt/etc that doesn't come off with water).
♠ Rinse your face with cold water after it's been exposed to warm moisture (shower, steam) and after sweating.
♠ Change to a clean pillowcase at least once a week.
♠ Moisturize your throat and around your eyes every night. Depending on your needs, go as far as moisturizing your whole face and neck every morning and night.
♠ Be gentle. Lots of chemicals and hard scrubbing will irritate your skin, causing more inflammation.
♠ Use natural mineral makeup, and cleansers and moisturizers with all natural ingredients.
♠ Don't blow-dry your hair.
♠ Don't get sunburned.

  1. It dries out the skin on your face (which is of course, some of the most delicate skin). If you REALLY think you need to blow-dry, you can moisturize after, but too much taking and giving confuses your skin and it will react by either overproducing or underproducing oil.

  2. Ah. Good to know. I don't blow-dry that often. When I do, it's not even all the way usually.

  3. Also, what does the cold water do?

  4. It closes the pores in your skin so that no pollutants can get inside. (Because the warm moisture opens the pores)
