I have too many hobbies, which is why I always feel like there's something I urgently need to be accomplishing. It makes it hard to get things done.
Craft hobbies:
sewing
drafting patterns
tablet weaving
drafting weaving patterns
crocheting
loom knitting
naalbinding
embroidery
Norse wire weaving
Food hobbies:
cheese making
experimental recipe formulation
cooking in general
gardening
Other hobbies:
playing cello
playing tinwhistle
SCA (which is mostly making things, cooking, and camping)
making skin/hair care products
writing
RPGing
Hobbies I should try harder to have:
singing
archery
having a band
drawing
exercising
I like having lots of hobbies. Keeps things interesting. They come and go. Don't have to be constant to be hobbies, do they? I don't think I've ever heard that anywhere.
ReplyDeleteMine are definitely not constant hobbies. But I am getting pretty annoyed with the large projects I've been working on, minimally, for years. I've got to just shove those out and get it over with!
DeleteI like having lots of skills, which is mostly what these are, but it does make me feel like any bit of free time I have is wasting time because there's always something I could be accomplishing.
